How to get 1GB Data for ₦200, or 4GB Data for ₦1000 on MTN in 2019.

So MTN Nigeria is giving customers of the biggest network provider of Nigeria some special data offers in 2019.
With this you can get 1GB of Data for just ₦200 Naira for 7 days on MTN or even 4GB for ₦1000 Naira for 30 days.


According to MTN, this is called Welcome Back offer and is available for customers who have not done any chargeable transaction on their network for the post 30 to 180 days. But don't be so sure yet. Just see if you are eligible for the MTN 1gb for ₦200 and MTN 4GB for ₦1, 000 data plan by dialling the code *131*65*2# or *131*65*3# respectively and following the instructions that follow.

Be sure that you have recharged the amount you want to use first.
You can do the  ₦200 for 1Gb first just in case it tells you you are not eligible. So you don't load ₦1,000 for nothing.

The other way to see if you are eligible for MTN welcome back data is by dialling *559*65#. However you can try this and it will give you ineligible message and then you try *131*65# and you get the data plan.

If you want MTN 250MB for ₦100 Naira then do *131*65*1#.

MTN 1GB for 200 Naira is valid for 7 days.
MTN 4GB for 1,000 Naira is valid for 30 days.
MTN 250MB for 100 Naira is valid for 3 days.
Data rollover is available for all. So for example if you do 4GB for 1,000 and you didn't finish it in July, you can roll over to August when you recharge again.
